Carpenter

We are seeking a full-time experienced carpenter with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a carpenter’s role.  Pay is commensurate with experience.  In addition to the above traits and skills, the successful applicant must be skilled in the following areas:

• Efficient and safe use of power, cordless and pneumatic tools and selecting the right tool for the task.

• Set up and safe use of ladders, scaffolds, ladder jacks and walk boards.

• Layout of foundations, walls, floor systems, roof systems, railings and stairs.

• Efficient set up of work area and material storage area.

• Proficiency in reading plans and details.

• Sound knowledge of the building code and how to interpret building code requirements.

• Strong working knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods.

• Drywall hanging and finishing is a plus.

• Small heavy equipment operation and certification is a plus.
