ELK Construction, LLC was contacted by the homeowner after struggling to find a contractor willing to take on this small, yet challenging, renovation project.  Portions of the home had fallen into disrepair as the homeowner lived out of state for several years – severe rot and mold in the rear sunroom, broken and failing windows and a kitchen that needed a bit of love to name a few of the challenges.  With plans to return to her Richmond home, we worked closely with the homeowner to return these portions of her home to their former glory.

 

Major work consisted of shoring and reframing a large portion of the sun room structure, installing new windows and doors, gutting and reconstructing the kitchen, reconstructing the rear porch  and upgrading the electrical service
