The Rudd  family wanted to add a covered outdoor space to enjoy with their family and friends. Knowing that a referral is the best method of finding a reliable, quality driven contractor, they were referred to E.L.K by a family member who is familiar with other work our company has done.  The family then contacted us to discuss their idea for a covered deck.  After meeting with Eric and discussing a few different design ideas, drawings were completed, and permits were issued.

 

Bringing the existing deck up to current building code standards, ELK Construction proceeded to add a new 24x12 roof with designer asphalt singles to match those on the existing home.  The space is finished with a tongue and groove PVC ceiling complemented by recessed lighting and new ceiling fan. 

 

The deck is finished with TimberTech composite decking and railing complete with stylish LED stair riser lights to provide subtle illumination.
